Were you wondering why J-Lo brought her mom as her date to BAFTA’s Brits To Watch event this past weekend? It’s because she ditched Skeletor (or maybe he ditched her, though I sorta doubt it). After seven years as husband and wife, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony released a joint statement saying they’re ending their marriage. There’s not talk about a separation or anything like that; it’s pretty clear from the wording (“We have decided to end our marriage”) that the former couple is done with it. They have 3-year-old twins, Max and Emme.

So what do you think finally did it? Lopez’s notorious diva attitude? Someone’s wandering eye? Marc’s been accused of being a diva nearly as much as J-Lo, he’s just not as high profile so people don’t pay attention. Maybe there was just too much divaliciousness in the mansion. Most likely it came down to money: Marc owed the IRS $3.4 million in back taxes. According to In Touch (via Celebitchy) back in January, his solution (which isn’t necessarily a bad one) was to tour more and earn the money. Unfortunately that drove him apart from J-Lo, and now it looks like the pair couldn’t withstand the pressure.
